![]() ![]() All in all, a great program, but this one major flaw makes it a very tedious program. Maybe someone who has a connection should have a major PC magazine do the same text and report on the results to the general public. There is no consistency to when or how it causes these errors. Can you imagine using Word or Publisher combining text boxes, where you can't made an adjustment or correction to the original text box without it affecting the rest of the text boxes? There tech support had even linked up with my pc and tried to make corrections, which they were not successful. If Adobe was not designed to use this way, then why do they provide that feature? You will not get them to admit this is a major program flaw. Once I hit the save button, the program, combines all of the boxes into one "master text box" (my name). As he enters the dark dimension, he changes appearance, through a lightning strike and his affinity for spiders. At some point, his powers were suppressed, possibly because he was murderous, and he became an orderly.Īfter the massacre, Eleven refuses to team up with Henry/One. Brenner, as the scientist's first test subject. When Henry emerged from the coma, he was under the control of Dr. He later did the same to his sister and (he believed) his father, but he overestimated his powers and fell into a deep coma. When his mother attempted to get him "fixed," Henry killed her in a familiar fashion: she levitated, her bones snapped, and her eyes were gouged out. After moving to Hawkins, the boy began practicing his powers, reaching into animal's minds and later haunting his parents (causing the so-called curse). Then comes the biggest reveal so far in Stranger Things history: One is Victor Creel's son Henry, who was born with strange powers and was ostracized during his childhood, feeling oppressed by the monotony of human life. One massacred everyone himself, as revenge for the treatment he endured as the first test subject, including torture undertaken under Papa's command. He then leaves El in a closet, where she hears screams and later emerges to the dead bodies of the kids, attendants, and guards. Without it, the orderly reveals his own psychic powers, and that he is One. El offers to help him and takes off his tracker with her powers.but it turns out it's not just a tracker. In episode 7, the orderly tries to help Eleven escape the lab through a tunnel, but says he can't join her because of a tracker on his neck. ![]() Though Owens says One never existed, the orderly tells El that she's being lied to, and also admires the strength of her powers. What happened in Eleven's past in Hawkins Lab?Įl's new life in California is disrupted when Dr. Vecna's ultimate goal is to open more gates and help the Mind Flayer take over the world. The gates open whenever there's a psychic link between a creature from the Upside Down and a person from the surface, which explains the portal that Eleven first made when she psychically contacted a demogorgon in season 1. Now the Upside Down version of the Creel house is where Vecna lives.Īs for the effects of Vecna's murders, every time the monster kills a human, he makes another tear between dimensions that become gates to the Upside Down. ![]() We also learn that Vecna's murders date back to the '50s, when he put a curse under Victor Creel's house and killed his family, leaving Creel blinded and falsely imprisoned. The Hawkins-based gang-Max, Dustin, Lucas, and the teen contingent minus Jonathan-do learn that one way to break Vecna's trance is to play the victim's favorite songs (leading to a stellar sequence soundtracked by Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill"). In the deaths, the victims, including Chrissy, student newspaper editor Fred, and basketball player Patrick, enter a trance and levitate before their eyes are gouged out and all their bones are snapped. is to psychically link with teens affected by past trauma, and torture them with visions until he eventually kills them. The first humanoid monster from the Upside Down, Vecna is inspired by famous ‘80s and ‘90s movie villains like Freddie Kruger, Pinhead, and Pennywise, and just as terrifying as any of those bad guys. The seven-episode drop-which took the paranormal Netflix hit to new levels of horror-ended with its first feature-length episode that saw all factions of the Hawkins crew facing off threats from the Upside Down, including the show's new, ultimate Big Bad, Vecna. By Wendy Stoltz / Last Modified On July 13, 2023 ![]() ![]() With that out of the way, let's talk about this printer's performance and features. Models like the 80 are older versions that don't include the six-month subscription to HP's ink service. All variants are identical the model number only changes depending on the region and retailer. You may find it under another model number, like the 8022e or the 8035e. If you want something more modest for home use, get the HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e, a cheaper sibling of the HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e we recommend above. ![]() If you don't care about the subscription, you can just go with the regular OfficeJet Pro 9025, though it may be harder to find. It comes with six months of ink through HP+, an ink replenishment subscription service, but know that if you subscribe to it, you can no longer use third-party cartridges, even if you unsubscribe from the service. Plus, the cartridges are relatively cheap, so the printer won't cost much to maintain. A set of ink cartridges gets you a little over 1100 black or 700 color prints, which is pretty good for a standard cartridge-based printer. Printing speed is great at 16 black or 14 color pages per minute, and it doesn't take long to initialize. It reproduces very small details but tends to substitute bright, saturated colors with a darker shade, making the pictures look fairly grainy. The scan quality is not that great it's fine for documents but not ideal for photos, as it has trouble capturing fine details.Īs for photo printing, it isn't bad. You can quickly scan multi-page and double-sided, thanks to its automatic feeder and single-pass duplex scanning capability, and there's also an optical character recognition feature that lets scan documents into searchable PDFs. Its wide connectivity options include Wi-Fi, USB, and Ethernet, and it can print directly off a USB flash drive. This all-in-one inkjet model is feature-rich and produces outstanding quality documents. The HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e is our best mid-range pick and one of the best HP printers for home use we've tested. It's also a color laser model that produces incredibly sharp documents however, it doesn't support automatic duplex scanning, and its toner cartridges don't last as long. If you want something cheaper, we recommend getting the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw, also known as the HP LaserJet Pro M283cdw at Costco. While the M479fdw is an excellent printer, it's also quite expensive. Plus, they have the drum built-in, meaning you won't have to replace it separately. The cartridges are expensive, but the cost-per-print is very low since you won't have to replace them often. The regular toner cartridges yield around 2400 black and 2100 color pages before they run out, and you can get XL cartridges that'll last even longer. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, USB, and Ethernet, and it supports Apple AirPrint and Mopria Print Service.Īs for its printing performance, it produces incredibly sharp documents, doesn't take long to warm up, and prints very quickly at 21 black or 29 color pages per minute. Its ADF-equipped scanner scans up to 25 pages per minute and can scan double-sided sheets in a single pass, so you don't need to flip the pages manually. This color laser all-in-one feels remarkably well-built, and its design allows easy access to toner cartridges and paper jams. ![]() The best HP printer we've tested is the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdw. ![]() |
